i live in city  i don't know where can i fishing  i don't have a car

1. Get a car first.
2. Go to any water front, gotta have fish anywhere in Melbourne
3. Get fishing license (if needed)

license is needed..get it in service station.(SYDNEY)

haha.......Im also living in city.....if you want to fishing ...there are two fishing shop in city, one is near flinder street other one is near victoria market.....
um....if u dont have a car the best place is Dockland, it is good for catching Bream (立魚),

There is so many place to fish in Melbourne. Depending on what type of fishing and what types of fish you are after. Search on the web for tackleshop around the city. Go to Compleat Angler at flinders lane, Compleat flyfisher is beside it too.
Or get any fishing magazine. You can even fish in the Yarra along the casino.

I live in Sydeny, I usually do rock fishing at beach, but need to depend on weather and wave level. I am now looking for other spots by google map, want to fishing on wharf, at least not that danger. Hope you can find your good fishing spot.
