My biggest trout hooked

This is a 4kg trout hen caught back in 2004 and think I should share on the forum........it jumped a couple of times then dive like a submarine.........................

Measure the size of the catch...........how many hands?

Nice one~ biggest rainbow i've seen... bigger than the one i've seen in trout farm...

Was in a trout resort......with river running through....... next to a pool where people can sit and hide from the sun. Picture was taken in South Africa.


Rod used: Scott 4wt.
Fly: Black Wooly Bugger with peacock  flash.

My cousin operates a fuelling station over there.
He told me that it is a paradise for the fishing guides.
But I dislike flying 16 hours too far away

I have seen much bigger ones in the trout farm in New Zealand......near Rotorua.
