Fished Maldives once and that was many moons ago.

Yes, you're right, completely forgot about the polarized glasses.  I recommend two sets.  One in Amber, and another in a darker shade.  假如只能选一副偏光眼睛的话，就琥珀色amber吧！provides better contrast with a tan base(sand flat), clear water, and bright sky.
