Where do you catch your crabs?

Where do you catch your crabs?  I remember people said you can catch crabs on the rocky beach of the Dong Chung old pier.  Does anyone catch their crabs there?

I heard that was a good place too but not been there to catch crabs b4.

i did, the size of crab over there is quite good, you can collect over 50 crabs within 30 mins, but remember to were gloves.

thanks.  Do you know if we can go back to the new pier by taxi easily? Or we can actually walk (reasonable distance)?

I think it's better for you to catch them in advance, let's say if you go in the morning, the water level is too high for crab catching. if you know what i mean. Also you have to walk on the rocks for 5 mins after getting of the boat for that crab catching location, and it's takes you at least 10 mins more walk in addition to go back to the new pier. By the way, taxi is not a good idea, because you might not catch any taxi over there.

BTW, where is the closest place near Sham Shui Po/Prince Edward area that you can catch some crabs for bait?
