Thanks for your reply.
I checked the price and specification between Polaris and Shimano. For example, let just compare Polaris X300 and Shimano 電動丸 1000スペシャル since both of them have same line capacity (PE#3 - 400m). Please correct me if i am wrong. Polaris X claims they can provide a maximum power (最大ドラグ力) of 10KG while Shimano 電動丸 1000スペシャル can only give out 5KG power output (最大ドラグ力) which is half of Polaris X. In term of line retrival rate, Polaris has a gear ratio of 3.9:1 can achieve a maximum speed of 185m/min (61cm per turn) when it is empty spoon which is 5m/min faster compare to 電動丸 1000スペシャル which has a gear ration of 3.7:1 with a maximum retrival speed of 180m/min (57cm per turn). In term of weight, Shimano 電動丸 1000スペシャル(610g) is better by 55g lighter than Polaris X (665g). At last, in term of pricing, Polaris X 300 is selling at 44,000 Yen and Shimano 電動丸 1000スペシャル is selling at 68,000 Yen. Roughly 35% less compare to Shimano 電動丸 1000スペシャル. And if it compare with Daiwa Seaborg 300FB (89,000 Yen), Polaris X will be roughly 50% cheaper. After compare all the factors, it will be an obvious choice to go for Polaris X300. But in fact I can not see much people using it or selling it in HK. That why I wonder are they actually that good. Any comment on their functionality, durability, credibility will be great. Thanks! |
