Chain Pickerel does belong to the pike family, which makes things ambiguous.
But I still believe my assumption is right : )

sure dude it does belong to the pike family. but it does look like a pike to me, anyways, nice catch man, will head out to the lake to do some pickerel fishing 2moro, hopefully can take a pic to show u what a pickerel look a like in here. tight line dude !!
