Haha you have to ask Kfd for how I went fishing back in Vancouver - drove 50km to the spot to just catch a poundful groupa and drove 50km back home...

Thanks for the support guys the biggest one I caught today is 41cm and the others are just a bit bigger than palm sizes.  Anyway this has made my new black bream record ...Worth to stand a few h ...

Not yet......I am too lazy Just put it down and have not open the box again....
Just ISO for christmas holiday and only small one.
Hahaha...Pray for 2008.

Caught the fish at around 7:30 and the tide was low by then.

Dropped the bait and let it sinked to the bottom.  Suddenly a big bite signal.  No movement after the bite but I could definitely felt that the fish is still here.  So I waited for like 10 seconds and maintained a little bit tension on the rod tip.  Still no movement.  At that time I decided to set the hook to and then the fight is on!  Didn't let go an inche of the line and just use the the rod to exhaust the energy of the fish and it went out of energy after a minute or so.  Netting the fish is the hardest part even with the 6 meter scooping net pole.  And actually the line wrapped around the pole when I was trying hard to scoop the fish    Lucky I managed to loose the wrap quite quickly~~

The worst part is that I realized the hook is deep inside the mouth of the fish, meaning that it is "fish hooked man" but not "man hooked fish"...

I turtled for many times in this holiday (I took 3 weeks off for December) as well...

Go hit more la, but were you busy with lure fishing?
