Fishing Programmes on TV

There used to be programmes about fishing on the TV in various channels in HK. Since the beginning of year 2008, none of the TV channels broadcast "Fishing Programmes". As a group of fishing fanatics and taking the sport deep in our hearts, I am requesting all to send an email to each of the TV stations and voice our concern.

There are fishing channels in the Mainland broadcasting 24 hours of our beloved sport and here in HK where we are surrounded by water and we have nothing similar.

I have done my part and now is your turn.

I have watched a TV programme on CableTV before about fly fishing,
I can say the beauty of the scenery and the density of fishes really shocked me.
( around 300 salmons within 2000 square fit.....)

I am not talking about fly fishing in particular. There are various ways of catching fish both fresh and salt waters.

On one particular channel which used to have fishing programmes is showing now  a lot about rebuilding cars from wrecks which is not common in HK but with a handful of mechanics. Where are programmes like Rex Hunt fishing, Total Fishing, Bass Championships etc. etc.......just to name a few.
