C hing,l think u made a mistake,u should only compare with  並繼,in 並繼,kisu is the most expensive and the weight is the lighest
Compare DX Surfleader Evsf is 395g and kisu special is 365g.So kisu is more light.And 先径 kisu special is 2.6 and evsf is 2.8.The second hand price of kisu special around 70000yen -80000yen.l dont think l will buy it..it is too expensive and l dont like use the rod carefully to prevent the sketch on the rod.

generally,$2000 buy a surf rod should be good quality,no worry be HAPPY

And l dont like chinese surf rod,that rod only use twice time and l lift a baby shark around 1.5 kg ,it break.

That proof the more money amount u pay,the higest quality u get

Hi...! Is depend how much information you have got to decide to buy a which type of rod and Reel. Don't just to look at the internal, or listen from the people or the company.  Try to see it,  feel it if you can, learn for it, So that. you can easy to find you want.
Some good fishing tackle are designed for special fisherman to help them to do their job, But if you thing you are the same level as their are  !!  Don't just look at the number of the rod e.g- 25-50...  other one think you need to knows the casting weight that is important. Action of the rod, Rings size and how many guides? Is it balance? Transport length...  Some time the rod weight are important but it expensive but some professional rod are heavy  because the material it use to help it to casting,   otherwise the rod will easy to break it. Some light surf rod is for use the light fishing line and lead but if the current are strong some the light rod will not easy to holding the ground but if you use the strong rod  for the strong current, it will very stable to holding the ground..

100% agree, I can tell everybody one of my experiences; I have a rod (Shimano BASE ONE XT 5’8” Line 4-10lb Lure 2-10g). I like it very much due to it’s very sensitive, light and small (good for samll fish). One time I give it to my friend and the rod just broken due to he use the line over the rod can afford.  So base on what you need to select the rod and use them correctly is very important.

Snooker C hing, u are professional.Have u find that the expensive rod provide extra weight for u to cast.For my 並繼,the weight of my rod  in  grip part,it is too light.Is the extra weight can help me to thorw longer distance?

And u talk the stablisation in the ground,l think it also relate to the no of PE which u are using.literally,small diameter of PE with a certain weight can give more stable than a thicker PE.

我既意思係你將kisu special同spin power比較就會發現kisu special真係唔輕!

ic.....l cant give too many comment coz  l never try kisu special. u are  right.

呢支只不過係最入門既並繼竿, 睇SPEC唔係特別輕, 講真我自己未用過, 但振出既EV已經好好, 並繼只有更加好!
請問師兄係用泥置底定灘投?

我係用黎灘投架~~另外我見人地灘投釣組可以用2~5隻鉤..
但係我又唔識(磅)帥兄可否教教我?!我係一個灘投新手..問題多多唔好見怪

Hi..! Yes agree, So If people got the time, They should go to other place to find out. and not just wait for news.
Sometime it is hard to get the information that you need,and why do we need to follow them?  Because I had not using the same surf fishing rod as they are.
The fishing rod i use is for fresh water carp fishing but it can doing the same think as the surf rod. the most important think is how balance the rod + reel together, and isn't the line, people are thinking using more heavy power rod can cast longer distance is depending their casting method, but if you know how to use the pulling power, it will help you much easy to cast a very long way ( 120-160yds+)
