Alex…it’s ok and I totally understand your points.    But there are two reasons why I am so stubborn about my gear:

1)        Whatever the hobbies I always want to get the best possible gear within my budget as I simply enjoy owning them and admire them as a piece of art

2)        I really believe that chance for catching a monster is so slim that I don’t want to miss it and hence I want to carry the best available weapon.  Of coz skill is a higher priority but when the fish resource is so limited, there is not much chance to practice the skill.  So, using a stronger rod is another way to compensate it.  Like the Chinese old say, “If you want your work to be of value to your business, sharpen your tools”…

That being said…I haven’t yet to meet any big fish that can break my line (for maeuchi fishing)…of course it is not because my skill is good…and this again reinforces my believe as discussed above…

不過我發現我亂收一些竿子是不道德的......
好竿子沒有地方發揮  是主人的錯.......
要好好反省
所以我寧願把一些好竿share出去給有地方操作的好朋友去使用

目前我覺得這樣很快樂
比中魚快樂
好竿再欣賞也會回櫃子裡關起來.....

Hehe take a "Kam Yong" character for example...in "Sun Dill Hup Lui"..."Duk Gu Cow Bye" was using a very sharp sword when he was young and inexperienced...after which he went into a state that whatever he takes he can use it as a sword...

相對磯釣來說, 前打/落入已經省回不少, 有時工作壓力太大買把中價竿子鼓勵一下自己幫自己打打氣也無妨......對嗎 Steven. .....黑工網子何時返到啊? 是不是要訂購黑鯛俱樂部? 我已有 50/55, 39/45, 36/42, 33/39, 現要訂把 2.7 or 3m, 一齊落單吧......
