30 May 09 Sai Kung Fishing ....

Date & Time: 30 May, 9am to 4:30pm
Rod: Sakura Brand
Bait: Small Prawns, plus Flour mixed with Northern Polar Shrimp Powder

Mostly Lai Mangs....  

Anyone C-Hing knows what is the name for MOSTLY WHITE + RED COLOR FISH as in the photo?

i am not sure what the red tiny fish named(i am sure some one will raise the name for you soon by responding ) .

just wanted to ask C Hing on what was your intention to fish today ? was it just Lai Mangs as the major target fish ? or you tried to fish Woo Tau and 立 by small Shrimp as well but just they didn't eat the bait ?

I was planning to get Grouper (SHEK BAN) and then LAI MANG. Unfortunately, I got 0 Grouper..... I tried to put my bait deep down the sea, but only get the small white-red ones as in the photo....(their mouths are big like grouper, at first I thought they are one of the many kinds of grouper group).

Anyhow, after several times of failures, I changed my bait location. I put my bait at about mid sea lvl, and I got Lai Mangs right away....

So, my priority was GROUPER then LAI MANG

For my bait, those prawns werent that small... at least finger size... but cut into pieces.

魚排釣班一般生餌會著數D
如:大生虾,生魚仔(油勒,連咪),蟹,
但一般都係裝地雷先會用生餌,因為可用大鈎粗絲,增加上魚機會
笩竿冇話唔得,但要衡量下口餌既大細同釣組及釣具既配合
