Kman's Trip to Rompin 旗 魚 之 旅

A mate and I just returned from a trip to Rompin, Malaysia.  In 3 days, we raised over 100 Sailfish, had over a dozen shots and landed 5 averaging around 20-25kgs.  This was my second trip to Rompin and the place never ceases to amaze me.  On Day 3 alone, we would have seen over 100 Sails milling about on the surface sipping anchovies.  Incredible stuff. Look up Dominic at xxxx (pm kman1) if you're keen.  If you're lucky he might still have some dates left for prime season (Sep to mid Nov)

Very nice work mate. If I knew how to give you points/credits it would be 1000 points from me. I really need to get back there but the more I look into it, its not going to happen this year.

Yes, all of the Kingfisher fly rods are priced the same at HK$1,200 each.  According to a friend of mine who makes the rods, the 10-15% increment in price for each line class is an industry standard that doesn't make much sense as there is little difference in cost between lower line classes and higher line classes.

I now own the 4#, 6#, 8#, 10# and 12#.  All of the rods are 4 piece and come with a spare tip section in a corduroy tube. If there's enough interest, maybe I can bring the whole family of rods out one day so people can try them for themselves.

Best Sail of the trip.  This one was landed on the Kingfisher #12.  The fish took over me in the backing 3 times but was finally brought to the boat after 25mins.
