Suggest a 前打 rod under $2k?

Not sure as I sold my TICA last week!!!  But I order one and DIYto get it thicker at the joint to fit my X39-45!

But Old model X39-45 is tough rod with strong flex!!!!  Heavier than new rod!

But i want to get a <4.5M long rod without needing to diy...you know it just doesn't feel right to spend big bucks and you still have to diy...coz the diy tip might not fight well with the rod as a whole...

How about Daiwa's rods?

My thinking:  The rod tip is associated with the sensitivity of picking of bait taking esp for drift sink fishing!  Not for fighting the fish!

Daiwa Rod is good quality with v-joint and very light! Good balance!  Some how I felt too fragile (feeling only).  I would choose Kurodai with at least a fighting elbow support!  A lot of comment that the tip is not sensitive enough!!!

Oh yeah, i totally forgot the elbow support, it is such a nice feacture

What kind of work should I expect if I want to diy the rod tip on the rod? (with a tica rod tip)...? thx!

The problem is to get one to try to fit the camber!  For X39-45, I have experience!  But not others!

Why not just order a VL limited 35-40.  A good rod tested out!  But of course could be a $800 more as compare with the X39-45 with DIY.  Watch out on Yahoo and may be a lot don't bother to DIYmay wrongly purchased and sell out for another newer version.

The shortest VL Limited (前打) is 43/54....???

Mine is already shorter!!!  45/50

I am looking at the VL Limited and seems like it is the only choice (430 is around 14 feet right?)

Is the rod well-balanced?  

seems like it is just impossible to find 12 feet rod...which i like the most...

and can I know where is the best to order the rod (or is it available somehwere in hk)? thanks!
