I have come across with a few more varieties of crabs.. but those I sent you is the closest to the real one. Again, those are made from a Japanese master, and peole usually keep them as collectable since it very very hard to come by. I will still do my best to replica one on the information that I was given.
Look at how the crab is set up, it immitate a swimming crab upon retrivel and will not be very useful just sitting at the floor. I think you can use it for 前 打, but a little different method on how you present the crab. ie. when it hits the bottom, dun let it sit there for more than a few sec.
