canada fishing

i love Canada,
can any people introduce the fishing enviroment of Canada here?
I have went for a trip before, but haven't fishing there.
And I will go to Canada next month, for studying.

where are you going? is different everywhere!
vancouver is western seaboard
then fresh water starting from Alberta to Quebec
then comes the ocean provences
so very hard to tell unless knowing where you going. . . .

i do not think you can enjoy fishing in the ocean if you are going to Toronto for studying.

if you are going to study in Toronto,
try Rice Lake, not very far away, approximate 90 mins drive
boat renting available at many spot, ask locals

I stay at AB. where you live & how fishing there ? I land my frist waleye 22" this season .

Once you stay in BC, there is the fishing Paradise. From huge Sturgeon to man size halibut.
Surely Salmon will be the highlight after fall. I fished in Harrison river BC beginning of Oct.
Hundred of Pinks strikes. It's full of fun!
