thanks for your advice again ^^

when I'm looking at the spec. of Japanese rods, they have a section called 錘負荷, I wonder if that's mean the max. sinker weight that rod can sustain, am I right ? an ...

錘負荷 means the total weight load of the rig i.e. float, lead, hooks, bait, accessories ....  that the rod can support during normal operation.  1號=3.759g likewise for a #1 rod's 錘負荷 is 1~3號, the rod can sustain a total weight of not more than 11.277g, if you exceed this weight there will be an hazard of snapping the rod especially the tip during casting!

锤负荷号   Weight Load(gm)
    1             3.759
    2             7.518
    3           11.277
    4           15.036
    5           18.795
    6           22.554
    7           26.313
    8           30.072
    9           33.831
   10          37.59
For the ease of calculation, you can time up by 4 and roughly obatin the total suitable weight load.  ^^

What kind of Aussie "live" bait will you use???  Still small bait crabbies ???  Very hard to find live bait like bait shrimps in the Down-under?

Have you think of using yabbies which I think there will be live one available in the Aussie market?

I tried small crabs before, but it didn't work well here

myself and my fds usually fish at night, then spend the first hour using light and nets to catch shrimps and whitebaits (a small fish species), and collect mussels and razorfishs for bait

attractiveness ranking:
1) shrimps
2) razorfishs
3) mussels
4) whitebaits

I heard that yabbies is good, but there is no live yabbies available in the market here. So, people have to catch it by themselves, but I haven't found a place to catch it yet.

Small crab is a kind of bait very target for sea bream!  Therefore, avoid a lot of un-necessary taker of the bait!  As for mussels, will you take the whole with shell or just the flesh?

I mostly catch breams with all four livebaits, as I avoid other fishes by using unweight tackle (really light main line 2-4Lb directly connect to the hook). I find this allow the bait stay in the mid water layer, which can avoid the bottom feeder, whitings and surface feeder, mullets.

when I using mussel, I only use the flesh.

Catching Bream try with shell on and this can avoid other taking of the bait except bream!!!  Try and enjoy!  The mussel must be small tip to toe not more than 20mm.  Crush some and throw into the sea as base bait attractor if you stick to a single point fishing!
