Sydney Kingfish

Finally with the early season arrival of yellowtail kingfish in Sydney, I was able to catch a few of these brutal, tough and highly sought-after sportfish plus one Australian salmon. I lost nearly half of the hook-ups as most of them busted me off before I can land them. The summer season has truly started and I will be concentrating on catching larger kingfish so stay tuned folks!!!

Hey man, how can you catch those small live squids?

I usually go squidding in less than 5 metres of water and favourite jigs are Yamashita 1.8 - 2.5 in natural colour.

Oh I see. But how can you ensure to catch a bait size squid? I do squidding in HK but it is in a bigger size, not suitable as a bait...
